Introducing the Gold Shibari Heart Necklace, a limited-edition collaboration with contemporary New York sculptor Adam Parker Smith. Handmade in Turkey in a semi-reflective, light-catching 18k gold, Parker Smith’s heart melds a pop art aesthetic — replicating his signature balloon-esque sculpture in the same silhouette — with delicate artistry. The pendant is wrapped in chains using the Japanese Shibari technique, a beautifully complicated type of rope bondage. This erotic element, and the physical and symbolic tension between materials and meanings, makes for a critical commentary on love and sexual practices. Limited Edition of 100.
